The family of Lyndon Parsons, age 10 of Toledo, Ohio, recently sent a thank you note regarding the support of Ohio Freemasons for Special Olympics.

Lyndon won a gold medal in the Softball Throw on Saturday, June 26, 2010 and placed 4th in the 100 meter dash.  He is the son of Lisa and Anthony Parsons, a member of Paragon Lodge #788.  His grandfathers Marion Parsons and Gerald Davis are also members of Paragon #788.

In the note, the family wished to, "thank all members of the Ohio Masonic Lodges who gave so generously to this wonderful event.  If you have never participated in the Columbus Special Olympics, we invite you to do so in 2011.  As a family, we appreciate your support [...]!"
