1937 – John Phillip Perry

M. W. Brother John Philip Perry Born in Jefferson, Ohio, March 28, 1890, the son of Benjamin Frank Perry and Charlotte Beach Perry. He attended Jefferson High School and graduated from Oberlin College in 1911 and from University of Michigan Law School in 1914.

He was united in marriage on September 17, 1921 to Miss Irene Raber, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and to this union were born John Philip Perry, Richard Lyman Perry, and Phyllis May Perry. Mrs. Irene Perry died in 1933. On September 15, 1936, he was united in marriage to Miss Annette Mundy in Ashtabula, Ohio.

He was a practicing attorney from 1914 to 1929, when he was elected judge of the Probate and Juvenile Courts of Ashtabula County, Ohio, and he served in this capacity for a period of thirty-two years.

M. W. Brother Perry served as M. W. Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio in 1936-1937.

M. W. Brother Perry died June 12, 1964. Private funeral services were held on Monday, June 15, 1964, at the Miller Funeral Home, Jefferson, Ohio, with the Rev. John Cuthbert officiating. Burial was in Oakdale Cemetery, Section 14, Lot 31, Jefferson, Ohio.
